GodSpeaks Devotional

Some time a couple of weeks ago, I was deep in “conversation” with God and I had a lot of questions about things that are going on in my life at the moment.  I asked Him to please say it to me straight… to not send me a devil’s advocate or send me cryptic messages because at this point in time, my head’s so muddled-up that I might not get the message.

I asked Him to say it to me through perhaps a friend’s email, a book, a song, a TV show… in short, through things that I understand.  God, being the obliging friend that He is, said it to me straight in not so many words.

One time, my daughter came home from school and the first thing she told me was that she borrowed a book for me.  What do you know?  The book was GodSpeaks Devotional and these are the things written in the book.

I didn’t take out “God” at the end of each line.  It somehow makes it more like He really is talking to me. 😀
