Letting Go…

Letting go means setting someone free so they can spread their wings and be who they are meant to be.  It means allowing them to grow, to discover who they really are so they can be happy – even if it means being happy with someone else.

Letting go means setting someone free and not hold on to the hope that maybe someday they will find their way back to you.

Letting go is setting yourself free too; from this hope, from these dreams – from him – for this is the only way to truly let go.

Letting go means allowing yourself to love again; to be happy once more; to be with someone who, perhaps this time; will not let you go.

    Good Post ~

To let go peacefully, investigate what keeps you from letting go…..its those beautiful memories, and our mind clings to those special memories….the more the mind clings, the less you let go…its our minds nature to be either in the PAST or in the FUTURE.

And the key is to be HERE & NOW.

So everytime you find yourself going down the memory lane, gently reminding yourself, that you are NOT in the NOW, would help 🙂

Needs a bit of practise…but thats the only way to wholeheartedly and peacefully let go and give your best shot to the present moment you have.

yeah… so true… i mean the part about letting go needing a bit of practice 🙂
i guess one other thing that one needs to do in order to fully let go is to heal and forgive the memories that keep reminding you of things past… so you can move on… free from the pain of the memories and yet still keeping them as a treasured part of your past… 🙂
